Repentance is the act of enjoying Jesus above all things. It's saying, Jesus, I want you more than I want anything else, and so I want to leave this sin behind and I want you to be the joy of my life.
A Christian produces the fruit of repentance. If a supposed Christian does not produce the fruit of repentance, maybe they're not a Christian.
