Summary
Hebrews 3:12-14 warns that finishing the Christian race requires community accountability, not solo faith. Sin's deceptive nature blinds us to our own spiritual struggles, making dependence on gospel-centered friendships and local church community essential for enduring faithfulness to Christ.
Highlights
Sin is like that. You have cream cheese on your face. The problem is, if sin is deceptive, it means you're the last person in the room to know it.
I think if somebody comes to you with a word of challenge, you should almost automatically assume that they're right and you're wrong. Because you probably have cream cheese on your face and you don't know it.
Solo Christianity won't work. Sin will deceive you and blind you. And that means you need the eyes of others to see your sin.
