Summary
Jesus demonstrated contrasting responses to trials: sleeping peacefully in a storm while disciples panicked, yet staying vigilant in Gethsemane's spiritual darkness. Believers are called to mirror Christ's discernment—resting in faith during external crises while remaining awake during seasons of comfort and spiritual temptation—as they pursue sanctification and Christlikeness.

Your anointing is not for you. If you're using your anointing only to bless you, that's almost incestual. Your anointing wasn't supposed to be inbreeding with your anointing. It's for other people, it's to bless others.
