Elijah's story demonstrates God pursues His people's trust by commanding obedience, making promises, and requiring risk-taking faith. God provides for His own, even through unlikely means, and works all circumstances toward believers' good as they trust Him completely.

Since God loves you, he will do everything he can to make sure that you're not trusting in something that is not trustworthy.
You don't worship a stingy God, but a generous God.
