Summary
From Luke 19:11-27, the parable of the minas teaches that Christians are stewards, not owners, of what God entrusts to them, and that faithful stewardship will be rewarded while unfaithfulness brings judgment. The sermon calls listeners to reorient their lives around God's kingdom rather than worldly distractions and to live with the motivation that they will one day account for their lives before God.
Highlights
You are a steward. You are not an owner. You have been entrusted with a certain amount of minas to manage for God's purposes.
If your vision for your life is a bigger house and a vacation home at the lake and a Labradoodle you're pathetic. Get a bigger vision for your life. Jesus has something so much better for you than that.
You have never had a moment of obscurity in your life. God sees it all, God knows it all, God evaluates it all. Man, if you're walking in faithfulness, God is pleased and He's gonna reward you for it.
