You will never set aside time for something that you don't think works. And setting aside time to pray actually is the first step of training your heart to believe that that's the best thing you could give your time to.
Apart from Christ, we can do nothing. And if these words aren't true, then there's no reason you should pray and you shouldn't waste your time at all.
Intercessory prayer comes from a person who has first been changed. What would it look like for our church to pray like this, to be a room of people that prayed for God's kingdom to come on earth?
