Summary
Prayer builds relationship with God and involves him in his plans rather than informing him of unknown needs. Though God knows what will happen and what we need before we ask, he commands and works through prayer, changes us through the asking, and answers according to his wisdom to conform us to Christ's image.

God loves you so much that although he does not have need for you, he chooses to use you and partner with you in bringing about his plans.
