Summary
Paul calls believers in Ephesians 4 to walk worthy of their calling through three commitments: pursuing unity in the church through humility and patience, embracing their identity as ministers of the gospel (not passive consumers), and growing toward maturity in Christ by speaking truth in love and making disciples.
Highlights
One of the clearest ways that you can figure out how central Jesus really is to your life isn't actually how much you read the Bible. It isn't actually how much you pray or even necessarily how much you care for the poor. It's actually how much you are able to bear with other Christians who are very different than you.
The calling on your life is not to be an attender of someone else's ministry. That's not the calling on your life. No, the calling on your life is to be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Something had come alive in me that I'd never experienced before. Like it was like, for the very first moment, I was actually like walking in a manner worthy of the calling with which I'd been called.
