Summary
Ecclesiastes 5-6 contrasts two paths regarding wealth: the foolish path of loving money leads to futility and dissatisfaction, while the wise path finds contentment in God's provision and enjoys the days He gives. True life and hope come from Christ, not material accumulation.
Highlights
When we love money, we actually develop this thirst that can't be quenched. It's like drinking salt water. You're worse off for it.
God is our satisfaction. He is the fulfiller of our deepest longings. He's the hope of all the ends of the earth.
We came into this world with nothing. We will leave with nothing, but in Christ, we will depart from this world with everything.
