Summary
Ezra 5-6 demonstrates that nothing challenging God goes unconquered as the temple rebuild resumes through prophetic encouragement, divine favor, and Persian royal decrees. God's word prevails over opposition, His purposes always succeed, and He completes every work He begins in His people and in believers' lives.
Highlights
God's word has the final say. God's word has the final say. Nothing that challenges God will go unconquered because God's word has the final say.
God is passionate about defending the cause of his own people. He loves you, he will fight for you to the death. But there is nothing God is more passionate about than defending the honor and the glory of his own name.
God is not done with you. He's not finished. He's not done working on you. So you see some of you might be returning from a season of exile in which you spent a season living in sin and God is rebuilding what you tore down in rebellion. But I need you to know that while you may not be where you want to be, God's not done with you. He's not finished.
