The reason that you are opposed is because you are so powerful. The reason you are opposed is because God says I'm going to build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it and the way I'm going to build my church is through you.
Courage doesn't come by looking inside you. Courage comes from knowing who walks beside you. The God of all creation is the God who is with you.
