Summary
Jesus writes to the churches in Pergamum and Thyatira exposing false teachers who use sexual immorality and idol worship to lure believers away from Christ. Christians must know Scripture deeply, build community accountability, and reject convenient theology that enables sin, remembering that Christ's eternal reward far exceeds any earthly pleasure Satan offers.

We need to be wary of any theology that is convenient for sin. We need to be careful of any theology that is a convenient theology for your sinful flesh to believe in.
The gospel is good news to those who need good news. Those of us who have been forgiven love much, but if there's nothing to be forgiven of, then there is no love for Jesus.
