There is no suffering, no sorrow, no grief, no pain, no persecution for the faith that Jesus is not able to meet you fully in—there is nothing no suffering that Jesus cannot meet you in that moment and understand you and comfort you.
The sufferer does not need a theoretical question answered. The sufferer asks: where is God in my suffering?
Christians are a people of hope. We are under no illusions that the world is not broken, yet we are not defined by it because we know we have a future hope of redemption.
