When you become religious and a rulekeeper, four things happen: you become spiritually blind to the work God is doing, you experience relational disconnection from God, you become critical of everyone else, and it becomes all about pride and your kingdom instead of God's.
God is always going to do in your life what God wants done in your life, and it is always going to lead to your greatest good. The most loving thing God could do is heal you of your spiritual brokenness and distance from Him.
