Summary
Paul exhorts Timothy to finish well in faith by remembering three things: the person of Christ (His divinity and humanity), the power of God's Word (which creates, convicts, converts, and counsels), and God's promises (both reward and judgment). Forgetting leads to quitting, but remembering leads to enduring.
Highlights
Forgetting leads to quitting, but remembering leads to enduring.
Christianity has a risen Savior. You do not serve a dead prophet. You serve a living Savior.
Suffering will either deepen your faith or lead you to deconstruct it. It usually depends on what you do with it.
