Summary
Jesus teaches that God's kingdom is a hidden treasure worth more than anything in this world. Though invisible, it is eternally real, glorious, and free—characterized by personal connection, purity, and bliss. Christians must leverage their entire lives—money, time, talents—to point others to this treasure rather than pursuing worldly kingdoms.
Highlights
The kingdom of heaven is hidden, but its hiddenness does not obscure its reality.
All that matters in this life are the souls of people and the glory of God. Those are the things that are going to last.
The question is not, what do I want 50 years from now? The question is, what do I want 50 billion years from now?
