Summary
Jesus teaches the church to pursue sinners in love through a four-step confrontation process: address them privately, involve witnesses, bring it to the church, and treat persistent refusal as spiritual separation. This reflects Christ's grace and the church's responsibility to help members escape blind spots and destructive patterns.
Highlights
If someone's gonna walk away from light into darkness, they should have to walk past every single person that's part of that community to do it. It should be a fight for them. It should be really hard.
My community is one of the primary ways Jesus has kept me on the path of life. A hospital wouldn't be a safe place for sick people if none of the doctors were willing to actually tell you what's wrong with you.
People who struggle with sin are only actually safe when those around them love them enough to help them see their blind spots.
