Summary
Jesus teaches the Parable of the Sower (Mark 4) to explain how different hearts respond to the gospel. The four soil types—hardened paths, rocky ground, thorny soil, and good ground—represent spiritual conditions that determine whether God's Word takes root and produces fruit in believers' lives.
Highlights
We cannot control how people will respond to the gospel but what we can control is whether or not we will share the gospel.
Sowing is winning. Sowing is obedience because Jesus expects his disciples to testify of him.
There is no greater joy than knowing Jesus. There is no greater treasure in this life or in the next than knowing Jesus.
