Summary
At Pentecost, God pours out the Holy Spirit on all believers, not just a select few, fulfilling Joel's prophecy and making individual Christians the dwelling place of God. Peter invites even those who crucified Jesus to repent, be baptized, and receive the Spirit, demonstrating that God's forgiveness and power are available to anyone who calls on His name.
Highlights
If God can use this group of people and forgive them for their sins, He can use you and forgive you for your sins. Because whatever you have done, it is not as bad as what this group did with absolute certainty.
When you walk into the world, you are literally bringing God with you because you are actually the new temple of God along with all the rest of those who call on his name.
Jesus wants to invite you into the adventure of your life and He wants to give you a power that can allow you to do things you could not do yourself.
