Summary
Jesus calls believers to be salt and light in the world (Matthew 5:13-16), preserving godly principles through bold witness and radiating Christ's character in daily relationships. Remaining salty requires continuous abiding in God, community with mature believers, and refusing passivity in faith.
Highlights
When you're walking one way and then you go home to people you love and they're all just on you, it's this interesting thing when you realize you don't fully fit in anymore, but that's the point.
Don't let your salt lose its flavor when there is a world of people who don't know Jesus yet. You are involved in this story. I am involved. We are involved in what God is wanting to do on the earth.
The greatest work I have done in my walk is behind the scenes of discipling people. It's not about a stage. It's not about a platform. The difference that you make is one-on-one with people, making a difference in someone's life.
