I've spent my whole life looking forward and saying this is the person I wanna become and this is the life that I wanna have. And God is just wrecking me with, yeah, I actually have no power to do that and I'm not in control of my own life.
There is no there. Like however far you get in your life, you always just want the next thing. And so I think I'm learning to just be thankful for and embrace simplicity a little bit.
I'm learning how to stand by a little pond and look at a duck and worship Jesus.
