Summary
Paul's teaching in 1 Corinthians 7 establishes that sexuality within marriage is a gift from God designed to guard against immorality, require mutual giving rather than taking, and build intimacy through consistent practice. Married couples are called to view their spouse as God's gift, communicate respectfully about their needs, and never weaponize sex—instead using it as an instrument of sacrificial love that forces couples to address underlying relational issues.
