A hardened heart is never good. We get a hardened heart towards other people, we get a hardened heart towards God sometimes, and usually this all centers around pain or disappointment.
We are made in the image of God. God is not made in the image of us. Often we expect God to act like we would act, and yet the Bible flips that and says you are made in the image of God.
When your heart is hardened, you miss the power of God. You miss the power of God, and sometimes it's right here in front of your face and you miss the power of God.
