Summary
Jesus teaches that God's kingdom grows mysteriously and gradually, like seeds planted in soil, ultimately impacting the entire world. The central call is to listen carefully to Jesus as King, responding with humble, obedient hearts rather than expecting a dramatic, immediate earthly reign. Believers are invited to patiently trust His return and the future fulfillment of His kingdom.
Highlights
Jesus' kingship is here. It is intimate. The King is in front of us. The King is with us through the presence of His Word and the power of His Spirit and the body of Christ, His people.
By whatever measure you use, it will be measured to you. If you respond to this light that you're receiving, more light, the light of understanding will be given to you. But the flip side, if you ignore Me, if you walk in ignorance, if you disobey Me, then even the little bit of light of understanding you have will be taken away from you.
Though the coming of His kingdom may seem slow and ordinary, the Lord is at work. And God is building His kingdom.
