The reward for being honest is intimacy with Jesus. And like, if you're saying you want to discover, like bro, a lot of people would look at you right now and be like, why is this guy airing out all of his business? But if you can't be honest with yourself about the things that you're doing, good or bad, then how could you be honest with God?
Jesus is the best candidate because he lived a perfect life in a wicked world, so if anyone knows the temptations that you and I experience, it's gonna be him. And if anyone knows what it's like to suffer, it's gonna be him because he was beaten, stripped naked publicly, and died a death he didn't deserve.
Don't try hard to do things for God, just try hard loving Jesus. 'Cause you'll find yourself naturally honoring God more when you're just doing your best to love him as much as you can. When your eyes are on Jesus and you're trying to love Jesus, you naturally find yourself doing the things you were trying to do when you were doing it by yourself.
