Paul teaches that all people are under God's curse through self-righteous works, but Christ redeemed believers by becoming a curse himself, removing our sin and imputing his righteousness so we receive blessing through faith alone, not merit.
Highlights
You will either be under a curse of God or you will be under Christ, the Son of God. That is the choice for every single person in the world.
Jesus did what you can't. That is to be under blessing. You'll never get it under the curse. But if you're under Christ, then you will be under his blessing.
That blessing doesn't come and go. It doesn't ebb and flow. It doesn't leave you because you missed your quiet time or you slept in or because you sinned. That blessing remains because of his righteousness and not yours.
