Summary
Drawing from Psalm 18, the pastor teaches that God rewards those who pursue practical righteousness through obedient living. Believers must move beyond knowledge of God's Word to actual obedience, putting off sin and living lives clean before God to receive both earthly and heavenly rewards.
Highlights
Knowledge with obedience are two entirely different things. We know about a thousand different things, but we end up equating knowing it with living it.
God has called us to be holy, God has called us to be right with Him. God wants to meet us, God wants to reward us, but if we are not living in that righteous way, we end up missing Him.
The reward is not for hearing the Word of God, not for memorizing it, not for teaching it, not for preaching it. The reward is for keeping the Word of God.
