Jesus didn't just give us a book with instructions. He's saying, 'No, I'm in you. My spirit is in you. I wanna have a relationship with you, an ongoing personal relationship with you.'
To the extent that I obey the spirit of God, that is almost directly coordinated to the extent that I hear him speak to me.
