Summary
Jesus's Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) commands all believers to go and make disciples of all nations. The pastor challenges the congregation to recognize that mission is not reserved for professional missionaries but is the core identity and purpose of every Christian, empowering them through Christ's presence and authority to share the gospel, invest in relationships, and establish new believers in their everyday spheres.
Highlights
You are a missionary. That is who you are at your core identity. That is your purpose.
The one who has all authority in heaven and earth promised that he would be with you wherever he leads you. Having God with you is the greatest teammate you could have.
Christ's love compels us. The engine to the mission of Paul was the love of Christ that dwelt so deeply within him. You are not going to love people unless you begin to change your heart and your mind through a deep abiding relationship with Jesus.
