Summary
Through Galatians 3:26-4:7, Paul teaches that believers are adopted sons and daughters of God—heirs who are freed from sin's bondage and called into intimate relationship with their Father. Rather than viewing the gospel as merely forgiveness of past sins, Christians must grasp the radical transformation and security that comes from their new family identity in Christ.

You are not just forgiven sinners, but you're redeemed saints that are heirs of God, that are sons and daughters of God. And I think if we grasp the son and daughter aspect of who we were, we would live radically different lives.
All the things that have haunted you in the past, they don't have to be your future. You got a new dad now.
How foolish would it be to view this relationship as mechanical? How foolish would it be to see it as a give and take? How foolish would it be to not take advantage and run directly into this relationship?
