Summary

Highlights
The gospel is Jesus in my place, Jesus living the life that you could never live, Jesus dying the death that you deserve, Jesus raising from the dead and giving you a life that you could never have on your own.
Many of us have spent our entire lives in that boat and Jesus has been telling us no, get out of the boat, go do something that's a little more dangerous for me.
The gospel came to you when it was on its way to someone else, but many of us have spent our whole lives in that boat and in so doing we have turned the river of the gospel into a reservoir where it just stays put.
