Summary
Jesus delays visiting His dying friend Lazarus to strengthen the disciples' faith, then raises him from the dead after four days. Through this miracle, Jesus demonstrates He is the resurrection and life, conquering death itself and offering freedom from fear to all who believe.
Highlights
Following God is not always gonna lead you to the safest place. It's not always gonna lead you to a place that makes the most sense. But here's the thing you never have to worry about in following your good shepherd, is that he is with you and he will protect you.
Is your picture of Jesus too small for who he is? Perhaps the box that you've created for Jesus, he doesn't fit in.
For the believer, death is not a penal response to sin. For the believer, it is simply God calling them home.
