Summary
Jesus teaches that true wealth consists of treasures stored in heaven, not on earth. He calls believers to manage God's resources as stewards, directing their vision and devotion toward God's kingdom rather than material possessions or self-interest. Investing wisely for eternity yields lasting joy and purpose.
Highlights
Jesus wants your heart. He wants all of your heart. Greed and materialism have this unique ability to slowly but surely take over our heart, and we don't even realize it.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Generosity is not something that God wants from you, it's something he wants for you.
You cannot serve both God and money. Are you investing your treasures and resources now in such a way that your joy will be multiplied then?
