Summary
Through six disputes between God and the Israelites in Malachi, the preacher shows how the post-exilic generation doubted God's love, offered half-hearted worship, practiced idolatry and divorce, questioned God's justice, withheld tithes, and lost sight of serving God. God calls his people to remember his faithfulness, honor him with genuine worship and obedience, and trust in the coming Messiah.
