Memorizing and hiding God's word in one's heart—not merely intellectually but experientially—enables believers to resist sin and live confidently in this truth.

If you are in Christ Jesus, God is for you. He loves you. He will fight for you. He is in your corner.
God's greatest good for you is not a comfortable life. It's not an easier life. God's greatest desire for you is to make you more like Jesus.
When you hide God's word in your heart, God's heart is formed in you. And when God's heart is formed in you, the more clearly, the more easily you'll be able to see that God is for you.
