Summary
Romans 9:30–10:21 teaches that righteousness comes by faith in Jesus alone, not by works of the law. The pastor argues that both Jews and Gentiles are justified the same way—through believing in Christ's finished work—and calls believers to share the gospel, trusting God's sovereignty to produce growth.
Highlights
You can either be too secular to be saved or you can be too religious to be saved. Because being saved is not about you at all. It's not faith in self, it's faith in God.
Christianity is not go and do something. Christianity is it is finished.
You are righteous because of the finished work of Jesus alone plus nothing on your part. So you are no longer a slave to your own performance trying to validate yourself, but you are a son or daughter of God and when he looks at you in your seat, having done nothing to please him throughout your life, he looks at you and says, I love you. You're perfect in my eyes.
