Summary
Two pastors reflect on their conversion stories and discuss how COVID-19 and George Floyd's death have prompted spiritual introspection, leading them to prioritize intimacy with God, lament over injustice, and view Christian identity as primary above racial or ethnic identity.
Highlights
I have way more in common with you than I do my Puerto Rican brethren if you're a Christian, because I have ten thousand times more things in common with a believer of a different race than an unbeliever of the same race.
We can fight injustice and we can call evil evil, but if we do those things without love, then we're nothing.
This is a human being made in the image of God and he's dead, and his family now has lost a son, a brother, a friend, a father—that's a tragedy, we should lament.
