Summary
Believers are called to share the gospel through three practices: living entirely for Christ rather than themselves, adopting Christ's perspective toward all people as opportunities for redemption, and actively proclaiming the message of reconciliation. Success in evangelism is defined by faithfulness in sharing the gospel, not by conversion outcomes.
Highlights
The real reason that we don't share the gospel is because we're not really fully living for Christ. I think of all the times that I have not shared the gospel with people, and it always boils down to something to do with me.
You are not called to be the best. You are called to be alert. You are called to be aware. You're called to be looking for people that you can show uncommon love to and share the gospel of the grace of God.
Success in sharing the gospel is sharing the gospel. Which is amazing because that means there's no risk, right? The burden of growth is on God. You can't save souls. You need to stay in your lane.
