Summary
Paul instructs Titus on establishing a church marked by sound biblical teaching and godly leadership. The sermon emphasizes that authentic churches require humble, Christ-centered preaching grounded in Scripture's authority and qualified male elders who model Christ-like servant leadership and personal purity.
Highlights
The only way that you can faithfully teach the Bible is to admit that you are not the hero, that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, and to constantly be pointing people away from yourself and to Jesus.
The grace of God found in the gospel is not a license to live as a religious or secular sinner. The grace of God found in the gospel is the motivation for godly living.
If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a church to raise a disciple of Jesus.
