Summary
Paul urges the church to maintain unity in Christ by exercising humility, gentleness, and patience, while understanding that spiritual gifts given by Christ equip each believer for ministry. Diversity of gifts strengthens rather than divides the body, and every Christian is called to minister the gospel according to their unique gifting.
Highlights
What you believe determines how you behave. That's why it's so important to know what you believe, especially about who you are in Christ, because what you believe, at the end of the day, it's going to determine how you behave.
The world divides, Satan divides, Jesus unites. If you're not trying, making every effort, and it's hard, that's why he says you have to make every effort to stay together.
We don't just want you. We actually need you. What this is saying is that we need you to be a part of our body because there is a special work that only you can do.
