Sermon
Who We Are to God Impacts Our Access
Harris Creek Baptist Church
Speaker: Jonathan Pokluda

Summary
Paul teaches that believers are God's adopted children with full access to the Father through Christ. The sermon explores how adoption in the Roman Empire—a chosen heir receiving inheritance—illuminates our status as sons and daughters, and how the Spirit enables us to enjoy intimate relationship with God rather than remaining enslaved to systems of performance or false gods.
Highlights
God loves you because of what he did for you through his son, Jesus Christ. There's nothing, absolutely zero, nada, no thing that you can do to make God love you more. And there's nothing, no thing, zero, you can do to make God love you less.
Spiritual maturity is not just knowledge and obedience, but also the enjoyment of God. Do you enjoy God? Do you find joy in God?
You don't have to listen to the enemy. The whole estate is yours. Wake up the king at three in the morning as if he sleeps or slumbers. You have that kind of access.
