Summary
Paul's final letter to Timothy illustrates four principles of Christian friendship drawn from 2 Timothy 4:9-18: believers need good friends for dark times, must expect friends to fail, can experience God's grace healing broken relationships, and must trust Christ when friends abandon them.
Highlights
You need Christian friends even though they're gonna fail you. They have failed you. They're going to fail you. You still need them.
To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrong and possibly broken. If you wanna make sure of keeping it intact, you must give it to no one.
If everyone turns on you, if all the people that should be there for you aren't, if you have Jesus, you will have enough. He will bless you with his presence and with his power.
